I WISH to complain about the way cyclists are allowed to get away with lawbreaking that would result in criminal prosecution for car drivers.
Any cyclist can blithely sail past a red traffic light without fear of prosecution.
Any movement sensitive lights will take a nice photo, which will be ignored.
Unless a police officer is actually standing there and is remotely interested in pursuit, they will get away with it.
Cyclists can cycle on and off the pavement with gay abandon – usually on the pavement, knocking down the elderly – of which I am one – pregnant people and scattering children and small dogs left right and centre.
Overtaking on the inside, the outside and well nigh over the top of cars is quite acceptable, apparently.
Cycling over the pedestrian walkway of crossings?
No problem.
Of course, cycling is the so called green way to get about and heaven help any oil stained, grease monkey petrol-head of a motorist who tries to stand up for their overtaxed and chronically abused (lack of) rights.
No help or support for the motorist over these morons.
