I AM worried and saddened by the mob anger and hypocrisy there has been about MPs’ expenses.
Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
Most of us have been tempted to dodge paying tax, to give or receive cash for work done, to hide things from the customs man, avoid the full fare on a bus or a train, or fail to be completely honest on our tax returns – even to claim maximum expenses when possible.
Is the mob really being angry at itself and the whole modern attitude of greed?
Most MPs are honest, sincere and hard working, but the media makes money from highlighting the wrong doers, and the public enjoys reading it.
