HEADLINER: Paloma Faith
A BLEND of brilliant international superstars and fantastic home grown talent has been lined up for this year’s Larmer Tree Festival. Continuing its tradition of supporting local up and coming artists, the festival is also very pleased to have some of the South Coast’s hottest performers. Joining headliners Paloma Faith, Amadou & Mariam, Jools Holland, Levellers and Roots Manuva are some great recently confirmed acts. They include Yes Sir Boss with Sarah Savoy & The Francadians, Chavo, Shivering Blaze – a tribute to Jackie Leven – Tom Hingley, Police Dog Hogan, Melodica, Melody & Me, Maia, The Camberwell Krakeb Club, Silkadelic, Hannah Williams & The Tastemakers, Beth Porter & The Availables, Bookshop Band, Achilles, Saturday Sun, Tom James, The ASBO Disco, The Uplifter’s Reggae Sessions and DJ Heinz.
From the South Coast, the Larmer Tree Festival team is excited to welcome to the gardens local artists: 11-piece jump-jive and swing band The Regular Joes, indie folk band Fearne, trio of ukulele pluckers, Mother Ukers, five-piece alternative rock band, New Volunteer, New Forest based The Wishbones, nine-piece multinatural musical collective Pachango, this year’s Dorset Music Awards winners, Peace, Love & Gloves, and The Spitfire Sisters.
Larmer Tree Festival founder James Shepard said: “We always work hard to achieve a great balance between well known, popular artists and up and coming talent on the brink of stardom - this year is no exception, we’ve got a superb line-up.”
