Cherries: Hartlepool clash is ON

CHERRIES' clash at Hartlepool tomorrow is on after the Victoria Park pitch passed an inspection this lunchtime.

The home side had been concerned that parts of the pitch had frozen in the recent cold snap, but the match was given the go-ahead.

Lee Bradbury's squad is set to fly to the north east later today ahead of the game.

Bournemouth Poppies' FA Vase fifth round tie at nearby Billingham Synthonia, however, was postponed following a pitch inspection this morning and has been rearranged for Saturday, February 18.

Good luck to the travelling AFCB fans tomorrow – I went last year and if it gets cancelled because of the expected continued cold spell it’s a heck of a way to go and get turned back. I doff my cap to your optimism

Please take the right footwear lads - we don't want another Lincoln City do we? Anyone remember the 9-0 in the snow?! Was that Harry's first game?

Safe trip to all fans that are going and the team are flying up, haven't we gone up in the world !!;)

Going to tough fixture but I think that we might just win 2 - 1, with Thomas and Malone scoring.

I was there! Harry always said that they had packed the wrong boots, our lads could hardly stand up that day and were lucky to keep it to 9!

If any fans have cash to blow and want to go to the game, you can still book a return flight with Flybe from Southampton to Newcastle tomorrow morning (@£170), rent a car at the airport (@£50) and stay overnight at the swish new hotel at the marina (£75) which is within walking distance of the ground!
