A COLOURFUL sight greeted visitors to the 68th Dorchester and District Garden Club annual show.

More than 240 entries from 26 green-fingered exhibitors were on show as St George’s Church Hall in Fordington was opened to the public.

Show secretary John Foot and chairman Brian Wills welcomed Mayor of Dorchester Andy Canning, who was impressed by the standard of the entries as he presented trophies to the winners.

The Dorchester and District Garden Clubs meets on the first Wednesday of every month and is always happy to welcome visitors and new members.
