DESPITE some unhelpful weather, around 400 bikers turned up for the latest bike night at Poole Quay.

The Coles Miller Dream Machines event enjoyed a visit from Custom Chrome on Tuesday. Tony Rempel from Bournemouth won the Bike of the Night title on his green Triton.

The judges for the evening were the Pirates of Poole and they chose the bike as a “fine example of a piece of British history”.

Tony has owned his Triton for 19 years and rebuilt it twice. He said he liked the fact that despite being an older bike, it performed well. Tony rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off and he will also be invited to take part in the Bike of the Year finale at the end of the season.
