AFC Bournemouth will unveil long-awaited plans for a new South Stand at a public exhibition at the Seward Stadium later this month.
The south end of the Seward Stadium has been empty for more than a decade but the club has ambitious plans to develop the ground as they push for promotion in the Championship.
As well as displaying proposals for the new South Stand, local residents will have the opportunity to view exciting plans for a new gateway to the complex which includes a pedestrian hub and 36-bedroom hotel.
Cherries’ supporters are also being encouraged to attend the exhibition which will be on display from 4pm until 7pm on May 23 and May 24 in AFC Bournemouth’s top floor Champions Restaurant.
Carlie O’Neill, business executive at Tanner & Tilley, planning consultants for the proposed development, said: “This is a great opportunity for Bournemouth residents to see this part of the ground developed into something which will benefit the wider community.
“This exhibition will give everyone the chance to see the proposal and voice their opinions on the development before the application is submitted.”
Comments can be made on the night.

I actually admire what Mitchell has done because regardless of anyone's opinion he is the only person to have run this club and be improving and making money. It's sad however that he doesn't seem to have any ambition for the club. He seems happier to keep receiving League 1 cheques and FA payments then invest and aim for the Championship. No doubt we will once again develop then sell players and find ourselves with a new unfamiliar side who take most of the season to get to know each other. Once again we will see the cheap option manager to be found wanting and unqualified for the role. Either way we will not be able to fill the stands which is in itself a sad state of affairs for a club in a town this size.

Agreed it looks impressive and would welcome it if the gates demanded it.
But the only gates that interest AFC are the ones to Kings Park.
