A WOMAN was airlifted to safety by the Portland Coastguard helicopter after she fell over on a cliff path.
The woman fell on a path just to the west of St Alban’s Head in Kimmeridge Bay yesterday morning.
She fell into a position where she couldn't be removed by foot.
It was thought that she had broken an ankle.
The woman was taken to Poole helicopter landing site to be met by Poole Coastguard Rescue Officers.
She was taken to Poole General Hospital by ambulance.
