YOUNGSTERS at Swanage First School have good reason to cheer – they’ve got a brand new play area to experience.
The play trail, hidden away among the trees in the school’s gardens, boasts a horizontal climbing wall, a cargo net, tree house and spiral tunnel slide.
It was designed and constructed by local experts JM Adventure Ltd, who count the armed forces among their clients.
Company owner James Mittins, whose two children attend the school, offered the equipment at cost price and donated his time for free.
Head teacher Paul Mason said: “We are grateful to James for his generous help. The play trail is better than we ever imagined.”
Pupil Martha Styants aged nine, said: “It is amazing. My favourite bits are the gladiator rings and the climbing wall.”
