SHOPPERS updated their wardrobes to raise money for Japanese tsunami victims.
They swapped their unwanted garments for clothes donated by fellow shoppers at a New Look clothes swapping event.
Some £531 was raised by 60 shoppers who turned up to the New Look Mock Shop on Mercery Road, which also celebrated Loving our Planet week.
Shopper Ani Hooper, from Frampton, said: “It was amazing. I had a wonderful time and there was a lovely atmosphere.”
New Look environment manager Mark Bannister said: “It went really well with a great turn-out. “What is waste for one is a treasure for another.”
Leftovers were donated to the Sue Ryder shop. Raffle donors were Dorset Cereals, Mollie & Fred, House of Dorchester and the Granby Fun Factory.
