Billy Bragg to play charity gig

Billly Bragg is doing his bit to help a cliff-top Coastwatch station.

He will play a gig at the Freshwater Beach Holiday Park on Saturday, February 12, for the station in his home village of Burton Bradstock.

Mr Bragg, who was the target of a recent hate-mail campaign, supports the efforts of the volunteers who keep an eye out for problems on Burton Beach and at sea.

He said: “Over the past summer, the NCI station at Burton Bradstock has helped to ensure the safety of everyone who uses the beach and the bay.”

Mr Bragg will be supported by James Lusby and his band.
