VETERINARY staff are appealing for the owner of this cat to come forward.
The shorthaired black cat, nicknamed Bubba, was brought to Moorcroft veterinary practice in Dorchester Road in Weymouth after being hit by a car.
He is now fully recovered after emergency treatment was paid for by the RSPCA.
Clinical and personal manager at the practice, Michelle Pavey, said Bubba, who has no microchip or collar, was brought in by a driver after being knocked over near Portwey Close, Wyke Road, late at night on February 20.
She added: “We want to get Bubba home because none of the rescue centres have got any room.
“He has the most beautiful yellow eyes and has been neutered.”
Anyone who knows the owner of the cat or who would like to offer Bubba a home is asked to call Moorcroft Veterinary Practice on 01305 776686.
