Man injured in fight outside library on Ashley Road, Parkstone

A MAN suffered serious injuries after he was punched during a fight outside a Poole library in the early hours of Saturday (March 20).
The incident occurred on Ashley Road at 12.30am.
Dorset Police said they were called following reports of a fight.
A spokesman said: "A number of people ran off but were detained nearby on suspicion of committing public order offences."
A 40-year-old man found lying on the ground is in a serious condition in hospital.
Police asked anyone with information to call Bournemouth and Poole CID on 01202 222 222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
