A private garden in Shillingstone will be opened to the public on August 30 to raise money for charity. The owners of Coombe Cottage will welcome visitors to their garden between 2pm and 6pm. Unusual and sub-tropical blooms combine “flower power with bold foliage”, say organisers. Densely packed borders, a large plant house, and woody perennials will be among the attractions for horticultural experts.
