A VEHICLE aquaplaned on surface water and left the road near Bere Regis after heavy rainfall left roads in Dorset flooded, police said.
The black BMW coupe, registered to a Bristol man, ended up in a field after skidding off the A35 early today.
A Dorset Police spokesman said the driver was uninjured.
Elsewhere a green Peugeot 106, registered to a Beaminster man, got stuck in floodwater on the B3164 between Mosterton and Broadwindsor.
No-one was hurt in the incident, which happened shortly before 8am, and the AA are due to recover the vehicle once the water level has dropped.
And Dorset Police said heavy rainfall has also left the C12 at Forston near Dorchester flooded.
