Free Christmas parking agreed in Wareham

Comments (1)FREE car parking for shoppers in Purbeck will be available on four days in the run-up to Christmas.
Shoppers in Wareham and Corfe Castle will be able to park for free on Friday, December 19 and from Monday, December 22 until Christmas Eve. It comes after Purbeck District Council agreed with the local chambers of trade and commerce to volunteer the services of their pay and display car parks in Wareham and Corfe Castle. Wareham Town Council and Dorset County Council also agreed to allow free parking in their car parks in Wareham on those four days, which means all pay-and-display car parks in the Saxon walled town will cost nothing to park in on those days.
