FIREFIGHTERS were called to a static caravan fire last night.
It happened off the Sherborne Causeway, west of Shaftesbury at just after 9pm.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said the cause is believed to be accidental but they were unable to establish exactly how the fire started due to the amount of damage.
Crews from Sturminster Newton and Blandford were also called to reports of a burning smell at a property near Iwerne Minster.
They found a small fire in the chimney and this was brought under control by 11pm.
