Man named as Darren Mark Woolnough at opening of inquest
THE inquest into the death of a Boscombe man discovered in public toilets at West Cliff, Bournemouth opened this morning.
Bournemouth Coroners' Court heard that Darren Mark Woolnough, 44, was found by a member of the public lying face down in the toilets at Overcliff Green on Friday August 23 at 6pm.
His body was formally identified on Monday September 2 at Holly Tree Lodge, Boscombe.
Dr Madders from Royal Bournemouth Hospital carried out a post mortem but the cause of death was not confirmed as further tissue samples and a toxicology report is needed.
Coroners Officer Allan Young said Darren who lived in Grosvenor Gardens, Boscombe had a history of alcohol and drug abuse.
A full inquest will be heard on October 22 and Dorset Coroner Sheriff Payne will be continuing investigations.
