TWO people were treated by paramedics after a gas canister exploded at a Bournemouth beach hut.
Dorset Fire and Rescue received five calls reporting an explosion at Middle Chine at 3.24pm on Sunday.
Two fire crews went to the scene and found the fire in the beach hut out on arrival. The service said the cause was believed to have been the careless use of a camping stove.
The beach hut suffered only slight damage.
