Pedestrian in bus collision remains in serious condition

AN ELDERLY woman who was left fighting for life after a collision with a bus is in “stable but serious condition”, police have said.
The Ringwood woman, in her 70s, suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident on Bournemouth’s busy Castle Lane East on Monday afternoon.
She was involved in a collision with a number 33 Yellow Buses single-decker bound for Christchurch while she was crossing the junction of Deansleigh Road and Castle Lane East, heading to the hospital, at around 4.30pm.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 18:364.
