Bus ablaze in Dorchester

PASSENGERS were evacuated from a bus which caught fire in Dorchester.

Ten firefighters attended the scene of the blaze on Saturday afternoon at the junction of Culliford Road and Prince of Wales Road The 33-seater bus's engine was well alight when firefighters arrived.

Passengers were evacuated from the bus when the bus broke down before the fire started.

The cause is unknown.

well it just goes to show the safety of these buses in dorchester which are being used to transport are children about an utter disgrace.

really ? are u sure, so a bus normally bursts into flames ? i respect your comment but be fair this is not a normal event . arnt these buses surpose to be checked to prevent incidents from this happending.
