Keep your eyes peeled for Comic Relief's Dino Darren

A COMEDY dinosaur will be released onto the streets of Bournemouth on Friday - all in aid of Comic Relief.

Darren the dinosaur - three metres tall by eight metres long - will be set-free by celebrity Chris Jarvis from the BIC this morning.

The event, organised by Sainsbury's, encourages people to call into any store to get their red noses to protect themselves should they see the prehistoric creature while out and about.

The dinosaur is scheduled to appear at a number of high profile locations throughout the next few days with the Mayor of Poole, Cllr Carol Evans, Bournemouth football players, Ray Quinn and other famous faces across the south coast all on the lookout for him.
