POLICE have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to following two alleged burglaries at hotels on Weymouth seafront.

In both incidents an offender entered the bar area and stole a quantity of cash from the till.

Police constable Andy Dickinson, of Weymouth Police, said: "Following further enquiries I am now able to release an image of the man I would like to speak with.

"I would urge the man pictured, and anyone who recognises him, to contact me.

"I am also appealing for anyone who witnessed these incidents, and anyone with information about the person responsible, to contact police."

The first incident took place at the Richmoor Hotel between 10.05pm and 10.25pm on Thursday, December 13, and the second took place at the Prince Regent Hotel at approximately 10.25pm on the same date.

Police have just released details of the offence.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police on 101.
