Boy injured in Dorchester collision

A BOY has suffered head and facial injuries after being involved in a collision with a van while riding his scooter in Dorchester.
The incident occurred at Celtic Crescent shortly after 1pm today.
A police spokesman said the collision involved a white Piaggio Porter panel van.
He said an ambulance attended and the boy was taken to Dorset County Hospital to be treated for head and facial injuries.
