Echo's popular offer extended until Tuesday
ECHO readers have no excuse for missing out on a swimmingly good year at Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park.
Due to the most popular year of this offer ever, the park has extended the redemption period for passes until Tuesday, February 12.
In addition the Echo will be printing an additional entry form on Saturday and a bonus token on Monday.
People just have to take four differently numbered tokens attached to a completed application form from the Echo and two passport-sized photos of each person to the park.
Adults can buy the pass - which is normally worth £36 - for £14 and children can buy it for £12 instead of £24.
General manager Craig Dunkerley said there has been 'unprecedented demand' for the annual passes, which also offer entry to the Sea Life tower for 360 degree panoramic views of Weymouth, Portland and the Jurassic Coast.
Mr Dunkerley said: “Due to unprecedented demand we're going to extend it for a further two days until Tuesday night.
“We usually do about 7,000 passes. We've had so many phone calls this year. It's been so popular, the fact that we've extended it to the tower has made it more popular than ever.”
Among the highlights at the Lodmoor park this year are the park's 30th birthday from March 29 to April 14, Flight of the Sea Eagles from May 4 to 6, Turtle Fest from May 11 to June 2, the Octonauts from May 25 to September 29, a Conservation Event on June 27 and Face Your Fears from October 27 to November 4.
The pass offers 20 per cent off in the cafe and shop and 10 per cent off VIP experiences, which includes behind the scenes tours, private feeding sessions and shark trainer.
The pass also offers £2 off a family passport ticket at Abbotsbury attractions the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, Abbotsbury Swannery and Abbotsbury Children's Farm.
Mr Dunkerley said he was pleased to be able to bring the offer to locals through the Dorset Echo.
He said: “It's a good thing for locals. It's the only annual pass offer we do.
“The locals are our ambassadors at the end of the day and we're offering unlimited entry for the year. There are so many benefits that come with it.”
The tokens can be redeemed between 10.30am and 8pm, tomorrow (9) between 10.30am and 5pm, Sunday between 10.30am and 5pm, Monday between 11am and 4pm and Tuesday between 11am and 4pm.
