Updated: Cyclist suffers minor injuries after Weymouth rush hour collision

A CYCLIST who was in a rush hour collision with a vehicle at the Manor Roundabout in Weymouth suffered cuts and bruises, a Dorset Police spokesman said.

Traffic coming into Weymouth was held up while emergency services attended the scene.

If all roundabouts in the UK had a mandatory speed limit (15 or 20 mph)... they would be a lot safer for ALL users...such a shame this is way too simple for todays complicated billion pound systems .... bring back the horse n cart... lol

Perhaps they should have installed traffic lights at this roundabout (:o) or built a flyover for A354 through traffic.
