Kayaker taken to shore after getting stranded at Portland Harbour

A KAYAKER was rescued by a fishing boat after getting stranded ashore at Portland Harbour.
Portland Coastguard received a call after the man became stranded on the outer breakwater of the harbour when his kayak started drifting away yesterday morning.
The coastguard monitored the incident while a local fishing vessel took the kayaker onboard and took him safely to shore.
