3:29pm
Sunseeker International managing director Stewart McIntyre said in a statement: “The incident was directly outside the shipyard building our new 155 Yacht and our client has been informed that there is no damage to his boat or disruption to the delivery schedule.
“At present, the detailed cause of the fire remains unknown but it involved an external extractor fan unit and temporary, fire resistant weather protection sheeting.
“There is no damage to any of our boats under construction or any serious disruption to our production facilities, which remain fully operational.”
He added: “On behalf of everyone at Sunseeker, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dorset Fire and Rescue Service and our staff who contributed to containing any potential damage arising from this incident.”
3:18pm
Dorset Fire and Rescue has confirmed that the extractor fan was completely damaged, but there was no smoke or fire damage to any boat or other piece of equipment.
“We sent two crews and they were only there for about an hour,” said a spokeswoman.
2:56pm
We're expecting a statement from Sunseeker and another statement through from Dorset Fire and Rescue very shortly. We'll get these up as soon as we have them.
2:35pm
Our reporter Jim is still on Poole Quay. He says people appear to still be working on the site.
2:02pm
We're hearing that there's no direct damage to the yacht you can see under the tenting in the pictures by the way.
1:57pm
Apologies to those of you coming to the blog for the first time - both videos from earlier seem to have been removed. We're not sure why.
1:42pm
Our reporter Jim Durkin says workers on the site are still inspecting the damage.
1:22pm
We are trying to firm up the rumours that it was Eddie Jordan's 155 that was under the tenting, by the way. It may be nothing but wild speculaton, but as soon as we get any information, we'll let you know.
In case that means nothing to you, here's a story about it from last year from the Daily Mail. It's 155 feet long, will reportedly cost £18 million and has an on-board garage.
There's also a picture here of the hull being moved between sheds in October last year.
1:12pm
There has been an ambulance on site, although Sunseeker says there have been no injuries.
1:11pm
Our reporter says the remaining firefighters have just left the scene.
1:10pm
Statement from Dorset Fire and Rescue says they were called at 11.52am. “Ten firefighters from Hamworthy and Poole attended a commercial building on New Quay Road following reports of smoke issuing from the building. The fire involved an extractor unit on the second floor. It was extinguished by three firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets and a main line.”
The stop message was received at 12.42pm.
The service said the cause was under investigation.

Another picture from Jon. This time of fire engines and an ambulance at the scene.

@Bournemouthecho apparently it was a small amount of temporary tenting and everyone and all the factories are okay.

Our photographer Jon, looking at the scene, says the shed in question has a transparent screen in front of it that looks as though it's melted.

Tourist Katie Williams said: “We saw smoke and firemen on the platform. They weren’t putting it out; I think it had already gone out, they were just looking at it.”
12:22pm
Our reporter says the fire service's high rise platform has just been removed. No smoke now visible from the Poole side of the Quay.

Thankfully it seems to be less dramatic than the last time there was a Sunseeker fire, which you can see here

We're getting reports of a fire at Sunseeker. At the moment we're unsure if it's a single yacht or the factory itself. We're getting lots of calls, so more details as we know more.
