CLOSED: West Stafford bypass
MOTORISTS are being warned to be on alert for flood water on roads after more rain.
The West Stafford bypass, near Dorchester, is still closed due to flooding but there are also Environment Agency flood warnings in place for other locations.
They include the Lower Frome from Dorchester to East Stoke and the South Winterbourne Valley.
This covers such villages as Martinstown, Winterbourne Abbas and Winterbourne Monkton.
There is a flood alert for the Piddle, Upper Frome and west Dorset rivers around Bridport, Lyme Regis and Charmouth.
The warnings come amid more rain overnight and more downpours expected today.
Roads are said to busy but there are no major ongoing incidents.
