THREE cars were damaged in a fire in Littlemoor in Weymouth earlier this morning.

Fire crews were called to a resident's car park in Kestrel View at around 4.30am after a Land Rover was set on fire by arsonists.

Two cars parked either side were damaged in the flames in the latest attack in the area.

Residents are calling for the vandalism spree to stop before someone gets hurt.

 

A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: "One vehicle was severely damaged in the blaze. Two other vehicles were also damaged as the fire spread.

"It is believed the cause was deliberate."

A number of potential suspects have been identified during police enquires but officers are urgently appealing for more information and evidence to bring the offenders to justice.
