Tinnitus sufferers asked to join research panel

PEOPLE from Dorset who have hearing loss or tinnitus are invited to start influencing a national charity’s work.

They can join a research panel for Action on Hearing Loss to highlight issues that affect their everyday lives.

Panellists will have regular opportunities to take part in the charity’s research projects by completing short online surveys as well as taking part in one-to-one interviews and focus groups.

Evidence gathered through the research will inform Action on Hearing Loss’s policy, services and campaigning work.

The charity is campaigning for a world where hearing loss doesn’t limit people and tinnitus is silenced.

Roger Wicks, director of research at Action on Hearing Loss, said: “Our research panel is a great opportunity for Dorset residents with hearing loss or tinnitus to help shape our work in the year ahead by highlighting the vital issues that affect their everyday lives.”

People can join the research panel at http://svy.mk/researchpanel or emailing panel@hearingloss.org.uk

Great to see that there's still reseach going on to combat this condition. I had tinnitus for a very long time in the pass and I know how annoying/frustrating it can be. My condition was very very server and I even had dizzy spells because of it. But thanks to a book i was able to find a natural cure for it. Here is a review for that book : www.tinnitusproducts
