Weymouth seahorse expert helps with seadragon breeding programme

A SEAHORSE expert from Weymouth has flown to South Korea to help with a breeding programme.
Emily Madge, who works at the headquarters of the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth, is visiting the Busan Aquarium to offer advice in a project to rear the first captive-bred weedy seadragons in Asia.
The creatures are closely related to seahorses, but habitat loss and illegal collection for the Chinese medicine trade means the population is classed as 'near threatened'.
