Crossbow and bolts seized in armed police raid in Weymouth

ARMED police swooped on a Weymouth property and seized a crossbow and stolen items.
Officers carried out raids at an address in Portmore Gardens and another in Carlton Road North earlier today.
Three people were arrested in connection with the incident and are helping police with enquiries.
Inspector Les Fry said: “We carried out a fire arms warrant and a theft warrant in Weymouth.
“As a result a crossbow and bolts were recovered and stolen property from a number of burglaries in and around Weymouth.
“Three people were arrested, a 19-year-old and 30-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman, all from Weymouth.”
