Police helicopter over Littlemoor

The Dorset Police helicopter was seen circling over the area this morning. (Jan 3) The helicopter was seen above the Littlemoor from 11.15am -11.45am.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “The helicopter was assisting with arrest enquiries for a wanted man in relation to a number of burglaries.
“Enquiries are ongoing and for operational reasons it would be inappropriate to comment further.”

Surely there were enough police on the ground to detain the fugitive... unless he was on the run/move... in which case I appologise..

There was a Boeing 747-400 over Dorchester on New Years day - phoned the ECHO but no reply - what a missed chance at a news item.
