AN 89-year-old retired Army captain who died after falling from a bridge onto a main road took his own life, a coroner has recorded.

Drivers saw Leonard Etchells, from Marlborough Road, Bournemouth, jump from the Richmond Hill roundabout onto the Wessex Way on the morning of July 6, an inquest at Bournemouth Coroners Court was told.
