A RAPE victim’s long wait for justice finally ended on Friday when she saw her tormentor jailed for eight years.
Ex-soldier Dennis Fitzgerald bound and gagged the Poole woman before raping her twice, while her young daughter slept in an adjoining room.

More than two decades after her terrifying hour-long ordeal, Fitzgerald’s victim spoke exclusively to the Daily Echo of her relief and the nightmares that have haunted her since the early morning attack in her own home.
