Reader Ben Wilde sent us this picture of a damaged police car and private vehicle at the scene of a collision in Poole on Sunday.
Mr Wilde, who lives close to where he saw the wrecked vehicles on a section of Commercial Road near the Ashley Cross traffic lights, said he had been watching television when he heard sirens followed by a loud bang at about 7pm.
Police officers had asked him not to take photographs, said Mr Wilde, but he had insisted on his right to do so.
Ambulances and low loader recovery trucks arrived at the scene, where police remained until 9pm, he added.
Dorset Police have not responded to the Daily Echo’s enquiries so far.
South West Ambulance Service Trust said they had no record of the incident.
