SCHOOLCHILDREN from Christchurch and Bournemouth have been putting their shop skills to good use setting-up a temporary business in the town.
Twynham and Glenmoor school students, who are on a new retail course, opened up a store for three days at one of the empty Saxon Square units, with all proceeds going towards the Jigsaw Cancer and Blood Disorders Appeal at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
Mayor of Christchurch, Cllr David Flagg opened the store with former television Gladiator, Sam Bond aka Atlas.
Cllr Flagg said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for these students. I hope that some of them go on to have successful careers in retail here in Christchurch and Highcliffe.”
