“ONE night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble.
Not much between despair and ecstasy,” sang ’80s one-hit wonder Murray Head.
The lyrics rang true, as I uneasily watched the showgirls who happened to be boys.
To be precise, 16 Thai boys strutting their stuff on stage in over 400 outrageous costumes.
The high-kicking cabaret show generated a feel-good party atmosphere and there was gender-bending fun aplenty, though the comedy routines teetered on the slightly naff.
If you’re looking for something different, you could do worse than this eye-popping night out.
