VISITORS will be flocking to view the intricate wood engravings by Colin See-Paynton on display in Lymington’s St Barbe Museum from Saturday.
Engravings in the “Of a Feather: An Avian Alphabet”
exhibition take the viewer through an A to Z of collective nouns from an Abandonment of Cuckoos, through a Gaggle of Geese, a Tiding of Magpies and onto a Zephyr of Longtailed Titmice.
Of a Feather took about four years to create.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, July 4. The museum is open from 10am to 4pm daily but is closed on Sundays.
