THE occupant of a house in Poole jumped from a first floor window after a fire, which is believed to have been started deliberately, broke out around 10pm last night (Monday).
Police are investigating the fire, which caused significant damage to the first floor of the semi-detached house in Wavell Avenue on the Waterloo Estate.
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire and Rescue said: "Clearly jumping from a window is dangerous and should never be attempted."
