A MOTORCYCLIST died last night (Monday) after a crash involving a Ford Transit Connect towing a caravan.
The incident happened at around 8.20pm on the B3081 Shaftesbury Road at the junction with Links Lane, Shaftesbury.
The rider, who is local, died at Salisbury District Hospital.
The van driver, who was travelling with his wife and daughter, was treated for shock and minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
