MORE than £50,000 of stolen goods have been recovered from Poole.
Dorset Police have seized several laptops, jewellery and a number of high value diamonds and gem stones belonging to local jewellers.
Officers from the Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) recently attended an address in Parkstone, Sunnyhill Place after receiving intelligence regarding cuckooing taking place.
During the check a substantial amount of confirmed stolen property from two commercial burglaries was discovered and seized.
One man was arrested for alleged burglary and is now assisting officers with their enquiries.
A later Section 18 PACE search of a linked property found more stolen property including high value gemstones.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Community intelligence assisted us with this positive result and shows how vital it is to report any suspicious behaviour or activity, using the following channels.
