A NEW toenail cutting service is now available for people over 50 in West Dorset and Purbeck.
The service is being funded by the Dorset Partnership for Older People Project.
Representatives from Age Concern have set up locations in Swanage, Bere Regis, Yetminster and Sherborne where people can book appointments.
The service costs £8.50 per session and people must buy their own nail cutting sets at £10 each.
For more information contact West Dorset co-ordinator Debbie Simpson on 07971 338991.

I have a job to tie up shoe laces never mind cut my nails due to arthritis. I will qualify on age in afew weeks time, and I for one will be making use of this service.
Is this a joke? Firstly, why don't they cut their own toenails? I'm over 50 but wouldn't dream of empoying someone to cut my toenails - especially at £8.50 a go. Thats 85p per nail
