TEST results on four dead swans from Abbotsbury showed that one was infected with bird flu.

It brought the number of swans confirmed with the disease to four. The remaining three bodies being checked tested negative.

The total number of dead swans at Abbotsbury has now risen to 12 after three more bodies were found recently.

Test results on those are not expected until the end of the week.
