RESIDENTIAL students at the Fortune School of Riding Therapy are not the only ones to benefit from JPMorgan bank's sponsorship of popular steed Charlie Magna.
"He's also used for the children who come from local schools on a once-a-week basis for riding therapy lessons," said Yvonne Nelson, one of the founders of the centre at Avon Tyrrell, Thorney Hill near Bransgore.
The centre provides young people with learning disabilities the opportunity to improve their life and social skills through working with and riding horses.
The bank has provided £2,000 for the second successive year to keep 20-year-old-plus cob Charlie Magna in feed, shoes and veterinary bills.
Charlie Magna was originally presented to the centre by Southampton Magna Rotary Club and is ridden daily.
The Fortune Centre has a total of 34 horses - 26 at Avon Tyrrell and the others at Wootton Hall Farm, Wootton near New Milton.
