WEYMOUTH town centre will be filled with dragons and dancers as part of the St George's Day parade.

The parade starts at 11am on Sunday April 22 at the Jubilee Clock, and finishes in New Bond Street Square.

On display will be a walking band, Morris dancers, street dancers, a large dragon and inflatable dragons, Merlin and, of course St George himself.

The parade is being organised by Waterside Weymouth Community Forum, The Town Centre Group and Weymouth and Portland Borough Council.

The Town Centre Group is also holding a sandcastle competition later in the day. Entry costs £1 and prizes have been donated by local businesses.
