TRAFFIC is slow on the spur road this evening as two fire crews battle a car blaze.
The car is on fire at the A338 Hurn northbound between the B3073 and the A31 Ringwood Road, and the carriageway is partially blocked.
Vehicles are queueing northbound between Blackwater Junction and the Ashley Heath Interchange at St Ives.
A Dorset Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "The incident is ongoing.
"Two crews, one from Christchurch and one from Ferndown, are at the scene as a vehicle is on fire. We received a call at 6.07pm."
