After a week of icy starts, Dorset is facing flooding again this morning as a band of heavy rain sweeps in.

The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the county, with 15-20mm of rain expected to fall on Friday morning.

Forecasters say winds are likely to reach 30mph with the risk of gusts of up to 50mph along the Dorset coast.

Winds will coincide with high spring tides, making over-topping of waves more likely.

Condor Ferries have cancelled some crossings this morning because of the weather. Follow our live updates here
