Appeal over fatal crash
POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a fatal crash which killed a 66-year-old man in Lyme Regis.
Dave John Smith, of Hill Road, died after his white Peugeot 106 ploughed into a wall near Mill Green and burst into flames on May 8.
He was pulled from the vehicle by local residents but died at Dorset County Hospital four days later from serious injuries.
Witnesses should contact police on 01305 222222.
